Introduction to major
The 27 faculty members who have emphasis on teaching lead 200 undergraduates
and 50 graduate students to be the frontiers of Physics. We extend a special welcome to those
who are prospective undergraduate and graduate students thinking of applying to our department.
For undergraduates, our department provides excellent education program combined with advanced
physical research and gives many fellowships and employment programs.
Our graduate program offers outstanding research experience and knowledge in the field of
condensed matter physics, applied acoustics, statistical physics, nuclear-particle physics,
dielectrics, magnetism, and nano-physics.
